Thank you for being here

Hi, I’m Sonya Strickland, the photographer and videographer behind Capital View Media. I serve clients throughout Maryland, Washington, DC, and Northern Virginia, with additional locations available by request.

My work spans real estate, sports, events, portraits, and commercial photography and videography. Whether I’m showcasing a property, capturing the energy of a game, or documenting a meaningful celebration, I create images that reflect what matters to you.

My background in project management and analysis shapes how I approach every session—with preparation, attention to detail, and clear communication. I take time to understand your goals, help you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and make the process straightforward from planning through delivery.

Through Capital View Media, I aim to give individuals, families, and businesses thoughtful, professional visuals they’re proud to share.

Let’s create something worth sharing.
